As a motivational speaker I wanted to become a more effective speaker and leader

. After starting a motivational speaking business in 2008 I realized that I needed to become evena better speaker. Toastmasters International is the single best organization I have found in the world after much research to help you develop speaking, listening, and leadership skills. As a member of Toastmasters Club #148 in Tulsa Oklahoma,where I have received great feed back and evaluations on my speeches and speaking skills.

My goal in life is to inspire and help as many people see themselves better than they see themselves. Toastmasters has a unique approach to helping the people who join their organizations. I feel that it is the best way to learn because toastmasters teaches their members by allowing them to speak,evaluate,lead,lead meetings as a toastmaster and time keep speeches. Toastmasters also has what they call table topics that will help members develop skills to think on their feet. They will then speak 2 minutes or less on that topic. All effective leaders have a vision of what they want to accomplish.That vision becomes the energy behind every effort and the force that pushes them through all the problems. With a vision, a leader is on a mission.

I joined toastmasters for that reason I have a vision of what it is I want to accomplish in life. I want to spend the rest of my life making a difference in the lives of people and you can do that with great speaking skills.Toastmasters is a great place to develop realtionships as well. Through these realtionships you can network and learn things that will help you further your career and business. If you would like to work on becoming a better communicator and fear of public speaking is standing in your way here's a thought. When you experience fear it was designed for you to act, not stand still and do nothing. I have learned that fear is another thing than can keep you from achieving your goals.

We all have some fear but you must identify the fear and do the thing anyway that will help you succeed. Toastmasters is a great place for anyone to become better speakers and leaders and help them develop better listening skills. I want to thank Toastmasters International for all that they have done in my life and the lives of countless others who have dared to join their organization. For their are great speakers and leaders all over the world who have benefited from the training that Toastmasters International offers. You to can become a better speaker and leader by joining a toastmasters club near you. Thanks again Toastmasters I appreciate how you have help me to become a better speaker and leader and friend.
