If you were to develop, from scratch, your own Complete MLM Prospecting System, what would you include? Everyone would surely have a few differences in what they would want, so let me tell you what I would like in a MLM Prospecting System.
The first thing it must have is an auto responder. Without an auto responder, you cannot capture email addresses. Capturing emails, automating the initial response, and being able to keep track of your prospects is critical to your success. But, the auto responder is only one part of a Complete MLM Prospecting System. To go along with it you would need professionally written, confirmation letters and follow-up letters. If you are good at writing, including being sure that it can get through the spam filters, then you could do these yourself. Otherwise, it would be advised to have a professional write them for you.
The next thing you would need would be a tracking system. Knowing where your hits are coming from will make all the difference. Otherwise you are flying blind. If you are tracking your clicks, then you will know what is working, and consequently, where you should focus more of your efforts. This is especially important if you plan to purchase advertising. It would be unwise to purchase advertising somewhere that you have not tested. If the market there is unresponsive, you could waste a good bit of money.
Once you have these things in place, you need something to promote to catch people's interest. EBooks are the most common item used, but you may have other ideas. You would have to either create an eBook or find one that you can offer to entice people. There are plenty of options out there, but most are already highly promoted.
Another handy item is a newsletter that is sent out to your list at set intervals. These are highly beneficial for building relationships. So let's add a newsletter template and content to fill it to the growing list of things we need.
It would also be nice to have a Prospect Manager to help you track your prospects. This system should be able to track when your prospect first entered their email address as well as follow any other interactions. Ideally, it should be able to tell if they actually open the emails you are sending.
Finally, the biggest thing you need for a Complete MLM Prospecting System is the training to use all of these things. If you have never used any of these tools before, it can be pretty intimidating. Here is our shopping list for the Ultimate MLM Prospecting System:

That is a pretty hefty list. Some other things you may want to include would be a phone script and some carefully written sales letters. All of these products and services could get quite expensive. If you have the writing skills, you could save some money there, but these services are still going to cost you anywhere from $40-80 a month or more.
