. The demonstration showed homebrew code running and responding to the Wii Remote. Then came the release of the Twilight Hack software, the first non-modchip-exploit allows homebrew on the Wii. The software released by Team Twiizers makes it possible to run native Wii homebrew code without changing the hardware. Nintendo firmware version 3.3 alpha disables this hack. Nintendo stated that unauthorized modifications to save files may impair game consoles and that the update to the Wii Menu 3.3 review and automatically delete files of type. In response, the team released a beta version Twiizers updated compatible with 3.3 and 3.4 updates the Wii to support Wii homebrew games.
