An HIV home test also brags the same accuracy as those of HIV antibody tests in clinics across the globe with a lesser time to get the result.

However, there are many HIV home tests in the internet that boasts accurate and fast results but in reality, they fail to provide the results expected of them. 1. Clean the end of one of your fingers where you will get the blood sample with a cotton ball that's moderately wet with alcohol and then dry with a sterile pad.

2. Using the finger-pricking device, cautiously but firmly prick the side of the cleansed finger. Squeeze gently to increase the blood flow to the wound.

3. Press the top end of the pipette included in the kit to create a vacuum. Apply the mouth of the empty pipette to the blood on your finger while simultaneously letting go of the pressure applied to the top end of the pipette to draw in blood.

4. The test will determine if the amount of blood is enough.
