It seems that every year the style of eyewear in the fashion industry changes

, but what is interesting is that although many new styles are born every year, there are also other many styles that somehow manage to stay en vogue every year. These are styles like the aviator style lenses, the wayfarer style and the basic round wire frame styles. If you are trying to figure out what kinds of styles are going to be your best bet this year, you might want to do a little bit of investigatory work on the Internet.

Before you make any purchases, whether it be online or at a brick and mortar store, you need to decide how much money you are going to be willing to spend on your new eyewear. Prices can range from about $5.00 for the cheapies to hundreds (maybe even thousands) of dollars for the designer eyewear. If you already have a favorite brand that you like to wear, you probably are already planning on heading to the companys website to look at what they have. It is a good idea though to not restrict yourself as far as brands go you never know when or where you are going to find another new style that you love from another brand!

Once you have your budget in mind, you might want to start thinking about styles that you have tried in the past that have worked out well for you. If you really have no idea, start with the shape of your face. Keep in mind the simple rule that you want to wear sunglasses that are an opposite shape of your face. Heres an example if you have an oval shaped face, you are going to want to get frames for eyewear that are in a non oval shape. If your face is more of a square shape, you need to wear oval or round shaped frames. For those of us who have a triangular face with a very pronounced chin, oval or round frames will be best.

If you think you want the more expensive designer frames but dont actually want to pay the full retail price for them, there are plenty of websites that offer all of the top designers at prices that are a bit below the retail value. Not only that, but you can often find some styles on sale for discounted prices too, so you might want to keep this in mind as you search. Look for styles of eyewear that were popular this year that are going to be replaced next year with a different style these are the ones that are going to be on sale most likely.

Make sure that if you are worried about protecting your eyes from the suns rays that you buy eyewear that offers UVA/UVB protection. Although mirrored sunglasses might look really cool or the oversized shades might be all too fashionable, they are really not going to do your eyes much good by way of protection from the rays that can lead to poor vision, night blindness and other problems, perhaps even cancer in the eyes. For the most efficient and quickest way to research different types and styles of eyewear, your best bet will probably be doing a search on the Internet.
