When Can We Leave The Plane After Landing?

After landing all you want to do is get off the plane

, but there are a few procedures to go through first. Don't stress out, there's no rush.

When you begin the descent to the airport and your final destination, all you want to do is get out the plane, get through security, grab your bags and leave. But it's not always so simple. Often the plane will have to do big circles around Florida when taking flights from Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale while waiting for your turn to land.

When you come into land and are taxiing on the runway you are not allowed to disengage your seatbelt this is because it sometimes takes quite a while to get to the terminal building from on a runways many buildings, for examples flights from Washington to Munich may take a long time when touching down in Germany to finally reach the terminal. You will not be allowed to leave the plane until the pilot turns off the fasten seatbelts sign and the cabin crew set the door to manual and open them. You will then perhaps have to wait for stairs to be brought over so that you can disembark.

On flights from Denver to Montreal you may however find that you can disembark through a tunnel that is brought up to the plane's height, which in Canada is useful because it's not so much fun to have to go outside. But while waiting for all this to happen, don't panic or stress out. You have to wait for first class passenger to depart first, and then for the people seated in rows in front of yours. There's no real rush to get off the plane anyway as you'll all have to wait at the baggage collection for the same amount of time.
