Where Did The Excitement Go In My Relationship?

The last thing that anyone wants when they begin dating someone new is to wake up one day and feel like the relationship is no longer really that fun

. To wake up one day and realize that you are bored with your girlfriend is one of those things that you really had hoped would never happen. However, you have to be able to admit the truth with how you feel. You aren't quite sure if you want to keep on dating your girlfriend as long as you are this bored in the relationship. While it is normal to have some moments in the courtship that do seem to be kind of boring or just routine, that's not the way that you want it to always feel. You want to feel something more. Is that even possible?

As long as you realize that this is a possibility and you are aware of the fact that you might end up breaking up with her, then you may decide that now is the time to prevent that. You may feel like it is the right time for you to step up and do something to try and save your relationship. While that can seem like a pretty hard thing to do, it can be done if you are also aware of the things that need to change so that you don't feel so bored in the relationship you are in.

Most of the time, relationships end up this way simply because you let it. When you first begin to date someone, you will do lots of exciting things with one another. Even just spending some time with one another can feel exciting for you. However, as time goes on, you can end up getting into a routine and the excitment can pass and that is when you are going to really feel as though things have gotten boring for you and the woman you are dating. So, the first thing that you need to do to make things a little more exciting again is to recognize that the routine is what is making things feel so boring.

You need to drop the routine of the relationship and introduce a little bit of uncertainty. That leads to that exciting feeling that you once had and are now missing. Once you have been able to bring that feeling back between you and your girlfriend, you should find that it does not seem to be so boring anymore. I'd say that most of the time when a guy is feeling like he is bored with the woman he is dating, a lot of it has to do with getting stuck in a routine that is boring.

The other thing that this can be indicative of, is the possibility that you just are not attracted to one another like you used to be. When you first date someone and the heat and the chemistry between the two of you is strong, you can do boring things and still have fun with one another. As the attraction and the chemistry fades away, all you are left with is the sense of boredom.

As much as you may not like to hear this, feeling this way might be an indication that you and her are meant to part ways, even if you really don't want to do that. Of course, I would recommend that you try and do things to bring back the romance and the excitement. However, if you do all of that and you still find that you can't shake the feeling like you are in a really boring relationship, then the only answer may be to break up and part ways with one another.
