Where Does Death Racers Stand In The Psychopathic Video Catalogue?

To answer that question, Death Racers does not and will never stand squarely in the

Psychopathic Video catalogue because, contrary to popular belief, Death Racers was not a Psychopathic Video production.

However, that doesnt change the fact that Psychopathic Video and the independent movies created by Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler over the years have both come to represent many things over the years, whether intentional or not. Similarly, there have been many releases associated with Psychopathic Video, whether correctly or not. One Psychopathic Video often incorrectly credited to Psychopathic Video is 2008s Death Racers.

One thing that is remarkable about Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler (the two founding members of horror rap group ICP) is that they have a propensity for B rated thrill movies. Death Racers is no different, despite the fact that Joseph Bruce publicly lambasted it after its release. Its not a stretch to say that many who enjoy legitimate Psychopathic Video believe that sometimes Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler should just stick to horror rap, but that hasnt dampened their will power to create movies like Death Racers.

The plot of Death Racers will surprise no one whos been witness to similar Psychopathic Video like Big Money Rustlas and Big Money Hustlas. It goes as follows: community faces crisis that hinges on showdown between Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, Joseph Utsler wins in dramatic fashion, and then there is a twist to throw everyone off at the end. Sound familiar?

Though it would be wrong to say that Death Racers was based off other Psychopathic Video, because in reality it was based of the movie Death Race, which itself was a sequel to a 1975 movie entitled Death Race 2000.

Death Racers, when whittled down to its core, is the story of convicts being released to chase down a criminal in near-apocalyptic America. Tricked out cars are used for these convicts to effectively chase down the villain, Joseph Bruce. But when its all said and done (spoiler alert ahead), everyone dies. This script might not exactly mirror other movies that star Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, but it sure is close.

Though Death Racers may not have been released by Psychopathic Video, it actually did play an important roleit acted as acting skills warm-up for Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler before they got on set for Psychopathic Video Big Money Hustlas prequel (not chronological) Big Money Rustlas. It also motivated them to do a better job for the upcoming Psychopathic Video, because they new Psychopathic Video would grant them a larger budget. If youre reading this, youve probably seen Big Money Rustlas. Did the acting warm-up have an effect?

All kidding aside, its not too far fetched to think that Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utslter will get back into acting mood soon after theyre promotion cycle for The Mighty Death Pop! is through. After all, it has been nearly two years since the release of Big Money Rustlas!
