A third is to visit some of the nation's beaches on the west coast. There are a lot of these and they are among the best in the world. While you are there you should learn to surf and get a sun tan. One of the reasons that California is so popular and is such a popular tourist destination is because the beaches go for miles and there are so many people out using them that they actually develop cultures all their own. This means that even though you are from the states you will encounter a different culture.
The last place that you must see is a small town in the Midwest. If you are to truly sample the cultures that the United States has to offer then you would not be complete without visiting a town such as Martinsville Indiana.
