Where To Turn When An Elderly Person Needs 24hr Care.

Employees at aRedditch-based firm will be transformed into a sea of golden daffodils

on Friday when they do their bit for a leading cancer charity.

Staff at alpha Care Homes' head office, at Croft House, Moons Moat Drive, will be wearing yellow to work in support of the Marie Curie daffodil appeal that runs throughout the month of March.

In addition to yellow clothing, they will also be donning yellow wigs and daffodil face masks to raise as much money as possible for the cause.

Alpha Care Homes runs 12 homes across the West Midlands and the south east of England, which provide high quality residential care for the elderly and those with dementia.

Alpha Care Homes business development assistant, Tracey York, said: "We have decided to have a bit of fun and support this worthy cause at the same time.

"Many of our residents and staff members have been affected by, or know someone close, who has been affected by cancer at some point in their lives.

"Marie Curie is an important charity that does some excellent work and we have supported the daffodil fundraising across all of our homes. Everyone at our regional office is now looking forward to getting on their best yellow costumes to do their bit."
