Why Apple Ios Preffered Over Google's Android

According to the current trend, we have seen that Android is very speedily gaining the maximum market share in comparison to the Apple's iOS platform

. But if the mobile app developers are asked about their preferrable platform for mobile applications, Around 75% of the developers said that they would prefer iOS as the platform for crafting new applications over Android.

Although, Android phones incurred huge market share. In US, Android holds half of the smartphone sales. As a result, Research in Motion lost its big chunk of share due to popularity of Android phones. Whereas, Apple stills clutch 30% share in the US market of smartphones.

According to Google Chairman, Google Android will be the most appealing and preferred OS for the mobile application developers in 2012. It is because of the leading market share of Android. But, in case if you ask the mobile app developers about their choice of development environment. Most of developers would say that they are aware of the augmenting trend of Android application development but still if given choice they will go for iOS platform.

Now, there are many reasons why Apple's iOS is more close to mobile developers in comparison to the Google's Android. First is that Android's fragmentation hinders the construction of quality applications. Other one is the revenue, on average if $1.00 is generated by the iOS, than only $0.24 are generatedfrom the same application by the Android. Another issue is that Apple has very familiar and consistent payment system through iTunes Store where as, Android lacks in the reliable payment system. But Google is working hard to overcome this issue with the new Google wallet.

These are the reasons which clears the scenario that why Apple's iOS is still more popular than Google's Android. No matter what market share statistics tells, developers has their own reasons to choose iOS over Anroid But if Google manage to take on these issues, then there are chances that the preferences of the developers will be changed as Android is an open source platform where as iOS is the paid one.

Currently, iOS still rules the choice and top position in the working interest of the mobile application developers.
