A vehicle mounted access platform like a cherry picker is an effective solution to

the lifting needs of an assortment of construction, building maintenance and landscaping trades. It fills a gap between the need for unsafe ladders or costly, time-consuming scaffolding and the requirement for an over-sized, self-contained lifting device towed to a site or rolled off a flatbed truck. Units with extending stabilizers will require more than one space. In most cases, the trucks on which vehicle mounted access platforms are installed can be driven by individuals with a standard automobile license.
