It is important that you groom your dear animal even if he doesn't like it

. This will be beneficial not just to him but to your family too. Dogs have different attitude hence there are also some that enjoys being groomed and there are some that feels annoyed with it.

As a pet owner, you should make it a habit to groom your pet. Grooming helps avoid the collection of dead hair which can cause your dog to constantly scratch. Dead hair can also get to your carpet and is hard to remove. In addition, you also ought to examine for fleas, lies and ticks. If they have these parasites in their bodies, it might live in your carpet, couches and worse, in your beds and breed there. If you brush your pets' coat, it improves the circulation of his blood causing it to become shinier and much pleasing smell.

Another reason why grooming is important is because it lets you to detect anything that can be detrimental to your dog's health such as lumps that can be a malignant cyst or symptoms of tumor. This way you can have him treated while the illness is still early.

Like humans, the teeth of our animal buddy can also have cavities causing them to have bad breath therefore it is important that you check your pets' teeth too. Examine your pet's mouth for any gum problems, broken teeth and cavities.

Your darling's ears also require attention especially if you have pets with floppy ears like rabbits and dogs. These animals go about their activities like playing and dirt may accumulate inside their ears. It is this part of their bodies that they cannot afford to clean. Therefore, as their owner you should help them with this task. Accumulated dirt and seeds that get in their ears can cause infection.

Grooming can be a good way for the pet and his owner to strengthen their bond. By doing this regularly, not only love and respect will be developed but trust as well. If your pet trusts you, taking him to the vet will be easy.
