Why Getting A Cdl Is Simple But Not Easy.

Some people can't understand the idea of something being simple and not easy

. Trucking is a good example of this. The process of obtaining your CDL is very simple but it is the opposite of easy. The responsibility of driving a truck is a serious one and I know that amazing damage can be caused by an out of control semi truck. This is the primary reasoning behind why it is difficult to get a CDL. There should be more people who want to get a CDL than get one. Its something that is that important. Do you think anyone should be able to fly a plane? What about pilot a river tug boat? Do you know what type of damage can be caused by a barge out of control down the river? A loaded truck is like a land train, without qualified operation anything can happen.

A wise man once said the easy things in life have happened already everything else you have to work for. I think this really applies to trucking. Don't doubt your own odds unless you want to teach yourself to fail. You'll know if you are built for trucking it is a pride thing.

Men are just boys with larger toys after all. You have to connect with the kid in you who used to love to tear things apart and put them back together. If you are that type then you will do just fine.

JFK said on his inaugural address to ask not what the country can do for you but what can you do for your country. I love this quote and it does apply to your career. You play the main role in the outcome of your career if you sit idle and wait for something to happen then you will be disappointed.

You cannot settle for a lesser outcome because the path you desire is difficult. It isn't the design of a chain that shows its strength its tested by how much it can pull without breaking. Its considered remarkable if it bends but doesn't break why do you think this is?

Its surprising that people expect others to help the learn how to make money for free. The game has never worked that way. If someone finds a way to live and thrive then usually they will hide all traces of how and where they found it. Why? I don't know, maybe its human nature like Michael Jackson said.

Either way you need to know that trucking is competitive so truckers are not motivated to do very much but get unloaded and go get the next load. If you talk to the old timers who are close to retirement they will tell you its not like it used to be and they are right. Until it changes we have to play the game like it is but with a strategy to win. You can be victorious; you simply need to have faith and a good plan. Sweat the small stuff work the plan and watch your dreams materialize.
