I would like a career in medical transcription because I love data entry and clerical work

. I also like the flexibility to be able to work for myself, or from home. Growing up, my parents were not able to afford day care, so my parents had to work different shifts to make sure somebody was home for my sister and me. I was very pleased to find your program on-line because I did not want to spend thousands of dollars on a degree when I could concentrate on this one course for a reasonable cost. I have always been interested in the medical field, but could not afford the schooling need to become a doctor or a nurse. Since I am able to do clerical work well, it seemed fitting that I would try something in the medical office field. I also like to work independently, so I was pleased to see with medical transcription jobs at home, I could work on my own without the stress of the corporate environment.

I am getting married next year and would love the ability to be able to work from home when I have children, and I am also excited at the prospect of being able to go into business for myself. I always wanted to work for myself, but could not find anything that lasted for any length of time. Since the medical field is growing, I feel medical transcription at home career would help in longer job stability. I work in a manufacturing plant in customer service, and I always worry when the company is slow, I will lose my job. Since the job security is better in the medical field, I feel I would have room to grow and learn new skills as it would relate to this trade. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

I feel that I would do well in this field as well is that I love to read, and I am a good listener. I also love to learn new things, and with the different terminology in the medical field, I would be exposed to new terms and endless ability to learn about what we treat in the medical field. I do not know anyone in this field, so I feel that would give me an edge in the job market as well. Most people I know are going into nursing, so I feel there will be a point that my course work in this field would help me obtain better employment down the road verses large amount of people that going to school for nursing in CT. I am very excited about this program and would love to win any of the scholarships you have to offer. I would love to enroll as soon as possible, but as I am trying to pay for a wedding, it would take me some time to save to pay for the course.
