While others want to spend their vacation in first class hotel accommodations

, others just do not like the idea of spending too much money in a single hotel room. The fact is that families who go out for vacation together do not want to stay in hotel rooms for so many reasons. But there are three most common reasons why majority of tourists and vacationers who travel with their families want to stay in vacation homes.

Approximately 35% of travelers prefer hotel accommodations, but 47% want to rent exclusive houses for their families and friends. And the 18% want to stay in other types of accommodation like motels, apartments, etc...

Here are the reasons why a big percentage of travelers want to stay in vacation homes;

1. Vacation Homes are perfect for Families

When a family travels, bigger space is needed to accommodate all members. Thus, staying in a hotel room would be a bad idea since this type of accommodation would only allow two persons to stay in one room. Logically, a family of six will have to get 3 rooms and considering that there are strict rules that everyone is bound to follow within hotel premises.

On the other hand, renting a vacation home for the whole family would be a perfect idea. Aside from the spacious place to stay, everyone is free to enjoy without time limit.

2. Vacation Homes are Exclusive

Unlike hotels, vacation homes are exclusive. Thus, you can have more privacy that you and your family deserve. There are people who do not want to interact with others while on vacation or some don't feel comfortable with so many people around.

Moreover, vacation homes are designed to accommodate 8 to 10 people with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a living room and a kitchen. In short, it is just a typical house built to cater travelers' needs. Thus, if you don't want to feel like you are away from home, rent a house where you and your family can stay and be comfortable with during your holiday vacation.

3. Vacation Homes are Usually Economical

Vacation homes are a lot cheaper than first-class hotel rooms. You may not be able to appreciate its importance and advantage when you are traveling alone. However, you can benefit from it if there are other people who want to enjoy their vacation with you like your friends and families. Therefore, if you are on a tight budget but still want to enjoy holidays with your family, vacation home is a perfect choice for you.

While there are other reasons why majority of the travelers want to stay in a vacation homes, the ones mentioned above are the most common because everybody wants to stay in exclusive, spacious and cheaper accommodations.
