*The Turkish language has many words similar to French and English languages, you can therefore guess a lot of word meanings
*Turkish is a very logical language, it follows specific rules and unlike English there doesnt tend to be many exceptions to the rules
*Nouns do not have different genders, there are no masculine and feminine forms
*Visitors to Turkey will also find that when they try to speak in Turkish, the locals tend to be very encouraging and supportive
How long will it take you to learn Turkish?
This depends on how much time you can devote to its study of course. The Babel language school in Antalya suggest that it is possible to achieve fluency within 6 months if your study is full-time.
