Why Sports Bra?

Exercise has always been a part of beauty routine

. Slimmer, firmer body gained after a frequent solid work out is what every woman wishes for. However, the right garments should also be taken into serious notice when an active woman does exercise. We absolutely dont want a condition where our body gets fit but our breasts sag, do we? That is exactly why we need a sports bra.

So why sports bra?

A sports bra is a bra that is designed to minimize breasts movements during a sporty activity. When we do high-impact sport, breasts bounce not only up and down, but also from one side to another when we do not wear a bra. These harsh movements can actually hurt the ligaments and the breast tissues and can potentially cause a terrible pain for the sportswoman. The stretched ligaments and the damaged breast tissues also result to sagging breasts.

The straps on sports bras are normally much wider than the normal padded bras. This means there is more area that supports the weight of the breasts. That also means that the straps wont get into the skin easily, leaving it free from red marks. Also, that strap twitching and shifting do not occur a lot. All these eventually will let the wearer feel more comfortable.

Sports bras are normally made from soft, moisture-wicking fabrics that are able to give the wearer a drier feeling during exercise. This material makes it possible for the breast skin to breathe more. However, sometimes the sweat-absorbent material alone is not enough. A better idea is to choose a sports bra that has both moisture-wicking material and perforated bra pads. Perforations on bra pads will allow perspiration to evaporate more quickly. Ultimately this will leave the wearer stays drier and more comfortable.

Every sports bra has a different level of control. The type of exercise you are doing is what determines the type of sports bra you choose. Yoga, walking and gardening entail a light control. Bicycling and hiking want a moderate control. Tennis, soccer and jogging require firm control. While running, boxing and intense workout need a maximum control.

Not only the type of sports, but the size of the breasts also determines which sports bra is best to wear for every individual. For the C cup size and bigger, sports bras with the maximum control and stability are a necessity. They will protect the breasts from moving wildly when an exercise is performed.

Now if you are an active woman, save yourself from pain and breasts sagging by buying the right sports bra for you. As long as you make sure it is the exact control (light, moderate, firm or maximum) that you need and that it allows your skin around the breasts breathe easily, you cant be wrong with your sports bra.
