Therefore, we can say that iPhone apps and Google apps are the key factors in the global success of these players in the smartphone market.
Microsoft and Nokia announced that they are keen to invest a total number of 18 million Euros into the new and fresh mobile app development program during the next three years. It is good news for all aspiring window phone app developers. Microsoft passed this strategy after analyzing that iPhone app programmers are paid better than any other mobile app developers. This is the reason, why 89% of developers prefer to work as
iphone app programmers.
What Window Phone is not having?
Most happening social networking and global apps like Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Evernote are in good association with Windows phone platform. The bad news is that local app developers are mending their ways from Windows Platform.
Though, Windows market successfully succeeds the mark of 65,000 applications surpassing another competitor in the market RIM BlackBerry. But still it is far behind from the plentiful Apple app store with more than 5 million apps.
Only 37% of mobile app developers are willing to work consistently on Window Phone platform which is very less than the previous survey held. On the other hand, 89% of developers are interested to work on iOS platform for iPhone apps and 79% of developers are willing to work for Android platform.
Microsoft has witnessed steed downfall in the interest of mobile app developers from last two years with no sign of progress. In spite of al meticulous efforts, Microsoft and Nokia are still struggling hard to regain their empire in mobile market.
Nokia launched new Lumia series based on Microsoft new 7.5 OS, Mango which received good reviews from users but failed to leave much impact. Now, Microsoft and Nokia have crossed their fingers as they are planning to launch new range with latest Windows 8 platform.
