Why You Should Consider Selling Used Books
Admit it! Your one of us
Admit it! Your one of us. Don't deny it. You own a computer right? Doesn't matter how you got it. Whether you bought it yourself or received it as a gift makes no difference. If you are a game player, a college student or just someone who wanted to explore the World wide Web, you have had "The Thought" at least once. Most likely many more times than just once. There is no way to spend more than a few minutes on the internet without having "The Thought". It can't be helped. "The Thought" is what makes you one of us.
Do you remember the first time it happened? You had just spent some time surfing around with no special activity in mind and all of a sudden it hit. Not just a fuzzy little something in the back of your mind but an awaking you could not explain. "The Thought" hit you. "Hmmm. I wonder if I can make some money on line". After this you are addicted. Part of all your activities will be searching for some kind of program or activity that will allow you to
achieve that magical, "Home Based Business". One sure sign that you have contracted the disease is finding yourself grasping your credit card and staring at the monitor and wondering how in the world you just spent $1500.00 for a home based business program.
The next day and the next something new. Another must have program. Another mysterious credit card charge. Is there no cure? Yes there is a cure and it is based on the same principle that drove the development of the internet. Knowledge. Simply sell knowledge. Not the digital kind. Although that can ve very lucrative also.
Look around you right now from where you are sitting. Do you see those strange looking
rectangular shaped objects? Some with hard multicolored covers and others with the slightly
worn soft covers. Yes. Now you remember. Those things are books aren't they? Now that you are beginning to notice them again you realize that the things are all over the place. And if you glance inside the front cover or look at the back cover you notice that these things are pretty expensive. People spend lots of money for these books. No matter how bad the economy, people buy books.
Well if they cost so much new, might they not have a reasonable used price and retain their
value. Yes indeed they can be extremely valuable and they do in many cases retain a good
monetary value through their usuable life. Not only are they one of the most saleable products, but you can list them on the internet for free. Thats right. You won't need a website, or hosting or domain names. All you need is to join a few free book sale venues and list your books. You will not have to pay anything untill your books sell and then pay just a small commission. The customer even pays for the shipping.
Don't let "The Thought" lead you into expensive and sometimes not so profitable internet home based business products. Spend some time investigating this potentially extremely profitable used book business. Buy some books for pennies and sell them for dollars and you will began to build an online business which will allow you to cover your costs while you investigate other potential programs and hone your online skills. While you are at it, read one of two of those things. What other potential product can keep you company on those cold winter nights?
