Buying a game based on its face value is something that you need to avoid doing

Even if people praise how good the cover art is of a certain videogame, it does not proportionally translate into the game being as good as its cover is. Think about that, because you don't want to think about it when it's too late already; meaning when you've purchased the title already and it's just then that you realize what a dud it is. Video games aren't books, but they still do definitely have covers so make sure that you know a thing or two about the game you're buying before you whip out your cash.
