There are different causes that can make a hemorrhoid bleed for several weeks, but ultimately there is one major cause, and that is the one to try to avoid at all costs.

This is a very common question that I often come across, which means that many people's hemorrhoids do actually bleed for several weeks. It is not an uncommon factor with hemorrhoids to bleed for many weeks.

The reason for this is simply, that pressure is exerted on the anus area and that causes the hemorrhoid to bleed. All this pressure can come from different things like standing for a long time, sitting for a long time, and so on.

However the most damaging factor is the pressures exerted when evacuating on the toilet. This added, direct pressure on the hemorrhoids causes the hemorrhoids to burst open and bleeding occurs. Evacuating usually happens everyday, thus bleeding occurs on a daily basis and in turn this deteriorates the hemorrhoids even further.

A good example that I can use to explain what is happening with hemorrhoids bleeding for weeks, is the following:

Suppose you had a cut on your arm and it bleeds. You make it stop bleeding and apply an antiseptic cream on it. The next day if you rub your arm (exerting pressure) it would open the wound again, thus causing it to bleed. Can you imagine if you did this to yourself everyday!!! The probabilities of the wound getting bigger, deeper and deteriorating further to the next level is 99.9%.

Even if you are applying an antiseptic cream daily. The cream can only help to keep the germs at bay and helps with the healing process, but there is a limit to what it can do if the wound is continuously irritated on a daily basis.

Well this is exactly what you are doing to bleeding hemorrhoids.

It is therefore imperative that you learn how to evacuate on the toilet without causing any damage to your hemorrhoids.

When you start applying this evacuation method daily, not only will your hemorrhoids stop bleeding, but the hemorrhoid will actually heal, never to return.
