Experts attribute some important technical reasons for a slow computer performance. When users frequently install or uninstall new software, sometimes the database gets failed. So there are chances of many unwanted software entries lying in your registry and slowing down the computer. One blessing that has often turned to be a curse is the free downloads of music, movies, ringtones, etc from sites which are not trusted. The end result is that the computer becomes a new home for viruses, Trojans, worms, horses, etc.

Overloading the computers without checking for enough disk space has often become a common cause of slowing down of computers. Removing unwanted software and periodic defragmentation of computer, according to the usage can provide an easy solution for this. Running or using software which occupies a huge amount of memory or running multiple software at the same time can definitely cause a computer to run slow. Systems in which a proper spyware protection is not installed falls prey to the spyware developers who devise new ways to market and spread the spywares which ultimately can be a cause of a computer's poor performance.
