The N97 ($127.35) is the flagship device of the manufacturer at the moment and vaunts it as being not only a top of the range device, but a mobile computer as well. This certainly gets things rather too far, since computers should be able to cope with wide variety of tasks these days. The N97 sports quite nice specifications indeed like 3.2-inch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi,2-megapixel camera 19.5 -MB built-in memory plus support for up to 8GB TF expansion cards. Will all this be enough for the N97 to win over its rivals? This is what we are going to find out on the next several paragraphs.

Design:

The minute you get the N97 into your hands you will find out you are dealing with a heavy player. There is nothing amusing about weight such as 5.29 oz (150 g) and the N97 strikes as bigger. As a whole, it looks pretty stylish our unit came in white colour. We dont really like that the phone is predominantly made of plastic parts, rather than metal, so it simply doesnt create all the same luxurious feel, like the one you get while holding in hand any top of the range makes belonging to the business line-up of the same manufacturer. The phone doesnt feel cheap of anything, its just we expected much more than a simple, chrome plated edging that is slightly protruding over the screen. It does help towards easier dragging of the scroll throughout the phone menus though. The N97 sports a 3.2-inch display with 260,000 colours and resolution of 240x320 pixels.

Features

There's no denying that the N97 is one feature-packed smart phone. It comes with a whopping 19.5MB of internal flash memory, which can be expanded to 8GB via the expansion slot, and the manufacturer preloads the device with a number of extra apps, including a dedicated YouTube player, Wi-Fi service, etc. Its bundled with a file manager, and other PIM tools, such as a Zip manager, a calculator, a notepad, a measurement converter, a clock, and a voice recorder.
