Will I Loose My Gains After Each Training?
Hello everybody this is Jacob Hiller with the Jump Manual
. I came up a very few frequent questions and that question is, after doing a vertical jump program or a jump manual or whatever. Will I lose the inches and the progress I gain on the program? And it's pretty a simple question cause during the program you gain a lot of hypertrophy that means your muscles get bigger and as well your tendon get stronger and more elastic and your central nervous system get's a little more powerful and learns a new skill and how to use the strength and muscularly that you have. Now what happens after you got on the training and what can happen is really going to depend on what your doing is you can also use a muscularly, you can also use a some of the things you gain. But let me put a real quick and short, if you use it you will lose it, because it's easier to maintain the muscle and skill that you have gain. It's easier to maintain it neither it's to keep growing it. Basically if you use it to a certain level you will lose it. But if you don't use that muscle what can happen is call atrophy. Now atrophy can take place when you stop using a muscle or if you maunder to have some type of illness. But really the only thing you need to worry about in less you maunder which I'm not talking about improper nutrition, I'm talking about maunder which just like going into a starving stage. But what you need to understand is your muscles if they're not being use will begin to deteriorate a little bit. It's kind of energy bound because your body was the conserver of your energy and muscles take extra energy. Muscles burn more calories than fat does. So if you're not using the muscles that you gain, if you're not putting the tension that your muscles are capable of basically they're wasted, there's wasted tissue on those muscles as far as your body concern and that energy that your body wants to conserve. So basically break down the muscles and keeps the energy. This is a very slow process but it is something you need to be aware of it if you want to keep your gains if you just stay act and trying to get you on the gym, once or twice a week and put the same type of muscles tension you did during training. And you jump a lot you use the muscle that you gain. If you use them for the purpose that you've train for you're not going to lose your gain, you're going to keep them and not you going to continue progressing. So the quick answer for your question is, all you going to lose is if you use the muscles and you've use the new ability youre not going to lose it. However, if you become strangling if you produce your activity greatly or if you start to get sick you could lose those things. Just something to be aware and this is something it's necessarily inherit to one program or another program this really goes for any type of muscles grow and any type of training. It's just the way the world is, in fact each doing things is astronauts when they're going to space because the gravity isn't forcing in put tension on the muscles that basically their just floating and there's not a whole lot of tension on it. I mean the gravity here on earth, every step we take every move that we makes there's tension on the muscles cause by the gravity and the resistance put in the space after that muscle atrophy much quicker because there's lack of tension of the muscles. So they have to do especial exercises and it takes especial treatments so that they don't atrophy they're muscles while they are up in the outer space because they don't use them mostly. Anyways, I hope that answers your question and reduces your fear on whether or not you going to lose your vertical jump gains after a vertical jump program. If you have specific questions, leave them below or click on the link which is ask me a question and I will create a video forth. So, hope you enjoy these and I will talk to you.
