Are you wondering if Usana is a scam?

No this is not the case. Their products are used by many people across the world and also by top athletes, and they are all singing the praises of the products. There are lots of new companies that appear with the latest juice and pill that will work miracles, but you find that most of them soon vanish. This is not the case with Usana.

If you were to talk to Usana associates then you would find most would give a raving review about the company, even the people that are not earning the big cheques. No one can argue against the fact that the comp plan is very generous, with forty five cents of every dollar being paid back to the distributor network. They operate on a very robust binary system, while this wouldn't be my own personal choice of compensation plan; it has the potential to make the savvy network marketer rich.

With the binary system, some recruiters are not always totally up front. Because of the possibility of 'spillover' commissions, whereby you would receive a share of commissions from people you didn't even recruit, this is often exploited by associates. It's a true fact of binaries but you should be made aware that you can only qualify if you have a balanced organisation. You can't just make money out of thin air in a binary!

Usana have been credited with many awards and they are also in full agreement with FTC guidelines regarding the MLM industry. They are certainly a standard for all MLM companies to aim for.

Many people have come to distrust the network marketing industry over the years, mostly due to previous scams like Ponzi schemes and Pyramids. This can lead to companies being wrongly thought of as a scam. I still believe that MLM is one of the very few business models that almost anyone can build a profitable business from home, even if they don't have previous business experience.

There still is and probably always will be, those who are out to rip people off for their own gain, as network marketers it's important that we are getting the message out there about our industry and showing people the true benefits of it, and how to do it legitimately.

Its quite obvious that if you look at their history, products and what their members say, that Usana is a very reputable company. If you are considering joining Usana then you would be making a wise decision in my opinion. I would however take into consideration the fact the there is extremely fierce competition in the health & nutrition industry, and it is becoming more and more of a challenge for potential customers to wade their way through the products that make false claims and are there just to make a profit rather than benefit your health. You will need to come up with a plan of action to help your prospects see the wood from the trees
