In order to receive the transmitted information from the keyboard, your computer should have a Bluetooth or a radio frequency receiver. You should keep your wireless keyboards in a way that the receiver is in the line of the rays.

Even the wireless keyboards have their own merits and drawbacks. The main advantage is the reduction in clutter and increase in space. Lot of us tend to think how nice it would be if our offices or homes were free of these wires.

The use of wireless mouse can further help in reducing the clutter at your place. For those who are more prone towards accidents, these are very safe to make use of. The empty space can now be used for different purpose.

Other than the flexibility, the user is also relieved of stress and feels more comfortable. This is more useful specifically to those who have to sit in the same place for a long time. No need to mention the save on hospital bills one faces with joint pains and backaches. They are also simple to install.

Without so much of loose wires, there is no place for confusion and can also save the time required for connecting wires. Also with wireless keyboards, a computer can be operated by multiple users. Furthermore, it lessens time consumption.

The downside however, is that technically upgraded as it may seem, not many models exist in the market and this may limit your search. This would also mean that extra costs will be incurred as wireless keyboards are expensive. Moreover, there have also been reports of reduced functionality of this type of keyboard. The infrared beam may also be interfered with especially when the user is a certain distance away from the computer and an object comes in between then the data transfer is interfered with.
