WoW Arena Tips

One thing I noticed that many people just completely over look when they are looking for ways that will improve their performance in the wow arena in world of warcraft, is taking advantage of the wow arena they get. I have noticed that its not till you get to the really high rated wow arena teams that you start to see people who use the way the wow arena is

set up to their advantage. I would like to share with you guys how you can take advantage of the surrounding the Ogrimmar arena, The Ring of Valor. This wow arena is a real pain in the butt. Mostly because when you are using the pillars

around the map to your advantage they really just end up screwing you over. I can't tell you how many times I have been playing this wow arena on my holy paladin and everything was going good, my team was winning, and I'm hiding behind the pillar avoiding the other wow

arena team... Then all of a sudden my pillar starts to lower into the ground, once that pillar dropped I was death griped into the other wow arena team and killed in a global. The other team blew all their cool downs and just dropped me. So when using those pillars I can't

stress enough how you should not use them as a form of security. Use them when you can, they are very helpful for line of sight, but do not get to comfortable because at any moment they can lower and leave you wide out in the open. I suggest that when it starts to lower make

your way to the other set of pillars because chances are they will be rising soon after the others lowered. Also getting on top of the pillars rarely works out as good as you think it does. Every time I

manage to time it just so perfectly that I'm standing on it right before it goes up and the people chasing me don't get on in time leaving them on the ground and me up on top, I still can't get away from them. If its a caster after you being up there just gives them free rain to spam you with all their moves, if its a melee they can still hit you from the ground. Even more so with the fact that so many classes have abilities to deal with you while your up there,

feral druid pounce, death knight death grip, rogue shadow step, Etc. Really getting up there wont help you out as much as you would think. So if you find yourself trying to get on top of them when they rise, it can work out very well for you but also can really just keep you

in the same position you are already in. So, I would recommend that you don't use to much energy trying to get on top of them, for the most part I find using the pillars as line of sights works just as good, if not better then getting on top. Its like using the pillar as

line of sight saves you from casters and not melee, while getting on

top saves you from melee and not casters. And in my opinion I would

rather be line of sighting them allowing someone to just spam free

cast on me in any wow arena. Now with all that being said

on this wow arena I think the best way to take advantage of your

surroundings is to save your cool downs and just do an all out attack

on the other team once the pillars are down. Like I was saying about

the pillar, while it was up I was fine no one could really put any

pressure on me, but once it went down the other team dropped me in a

global. So do that, wait for the other team to be exposed and just

pop everything you got on them. Even though I was saying how getting

on the pillar when they rise doesn't help that much I would not

discourse the use of them. They can still be very helpful and kind of

over powered in some situations. For instance in a 2v2 I was in it

came down to a mana war and the resto druid jumped on the pillar,

started drinking then went stealth on top of it. He got a full drink

of because we couldn't do anything to put him in combat to stop him. To learn more player vs
