Caroline Lucretia Herschel was born in Germany in 1750

Denise Anstey is well known for her invention that improved the life of many disabled persons. A disabled lady herself she always found it difficult to carry and store her walking stick. This led her to invent a walking stick which can be folded for easy storage and portability. The walking stick invented by her allowed people the convenience of portability and also offered support with enough firmness and stability.
