How many people do you personally know that are having financial success while they work from home? My bet is you can count them on one hand (if you know any at all). So, where are these mythical individuals and families that own 10 Lamborghinis, private jets, who travel the world and make 6, 7 and 8 figure incomes a month JUST working from home? Who are they and how have they done it?
If you're like 95% of the Network Marketing industry you've been asking yourself these questions and are starting to believe that these individuals are either lying or cheating and it's impossible for the rest of us to acheive that kind of success in the industry.
Well, I'm here to let you in on a little secret, it's not impossible. These individuals have key elements in place that allow them to recruit without picking up the phone, get instant cash in their pockets and their down line's, they understand what's really important when selecting a biz opp to join and the only thing that a prospect cares about, that only 5% of Network Marketers talk about. I'm going to be walking you through what sets these marketers apart, how they're making their fortunes while they work from home and how you can too.
When searching for your "perfect company" there are countless options to choose from. You can sell everything from luxury travel to energy drinks to weight loss supplements to pet care products, there is literally a network marketing company for every interest. But, when making your selection there are 2 key things you should always look for:
1. Make sure the product or service is in demand and has little to no competition. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself if the product or service could stand alone and still be a success without people being able to build a business around it.
Tip: If your prospect can buy your product at their local Wal-Mart, Target or convenience store, don't get involved.
2.The compensation plan. It must be one that actually supports you and your team's efforts. So many comp plans out there will promise you the world...IF you get over 100 distributors in your downline and 1,000,000 volume points on your 25th level (that's not supposed to make sense by the way) a good comp plan will allow you to make money instantly and leverage the efforts of your team.
Tip: It does take time to build a business and companies that promise over night riches or the opportunity to make money without selling a product or service; RED FLAG, run for the hills and don't look back.
So, now that you have your company selected, what's the next step?
Well, what the network marketing millionaires do is position themselves as leaders in the industry by becoming problem solvers. By leading with their knowledge, skills and ability to help others, they instantly attract people to them and their work from home opportunity. No one wants to sign up under a dud who can't help them make money, by simply demonstrating that you have something to offer your prospects besides your company, people will literally start asking if they can join your business.
Tip: you don't have to know eveything in order to help others, take something that you are good at (writing, communication skills, website design etc.) and you can bet that someone needs help doing exactly that.
You have a great product and oportunity, you're ready to recruit and have something special to offer your prospects.
But, how do you get yourself out there and have people actually see you? A.K.A how do you Market and Advertise yourself effectively?
This is where the majority of network marketers fall flat.
Advertising is the life blood to any business and has to be done correctly. Network marketing masters are always advertising experts. They understand how to tap into their prospect's mind and give them a message that will make them act (and buy).
Tip: Select a demographic to market to. You should be somewhat familiar with their needs, wants and what makes them "tick". The more specific you are, the more likely you will be able to deliver a message that they will be responsive to.
The next factor that separates the expert marketers from the "newbs" is recruiting. If you've ever been approached by a newbie marketer or have approached someone as a newbie only to be horribly rejected, you know how hard it is to recruit effectively and how bad an impression someone doing it incorrectly can leave.
The main difference between a newbie and an expert recruiter is how the two people think about their prospect and how they then approach their prospect.
The newbie marketer thinks of the prospect as doing them a favor by listening to them, the prospect will immediately take control of the conversation and this puts the newbie marketer in an inferior position, almost guaranteeing rejection.
The expert recruiter knows better, he or she will position themselves as an authority and will know that they are doing the prospect a favor by giving them some of their valuable time. They will use this opportunity to see if the prospect is worthy of their business opportunitynot the other way around. This gives all of the power to the recruiter and rejection is completely removed from the equation. Now, the expert recruiter also knows something else, they are able to make money from people even if they say "no" to their business opportunity and therein lies their true expertise.
Tip: Always remember, newbies try to sell their business opportunity, while expert recruiters sort through their prospect lists to see who's worthy of it.
The last and absolutely most important, must have for all Network Marketing Mavericks is a money making system.
Have you ever seen an ad along the lines of "See how this janitor went from cleaning toilets to cleaning up in the network marketing industry and quit his J.O.B in 2 months"? This is reffering to a money making system that this person has developed and now they are able to offer it in order to get leads, make money and pass it along to their down line so that they can do the same.
This step is more advanced than the others and takes a significant amount of work in order to develop, test, package and sell your money making making system than most marketers are able to do and do well.
It takes an in depth understanding of the industry, marketing, recruiting and of course, converting leads into sales and sign ups. I have created a money making system and I can speak from personal experience that it is quite an undertaking, but well worth it.
Tip: start small and work your way up to developing an entire money making system. Find a leader who has one in place and study it until you're ready to make your own.
Now, I can't possibly go over ALL of the things that set expert marketers apart, but I hope that this has given you a good start to making money while you work from home.
