World's Deadliest Martial Art...What is it?
Combat Jujitus is considered to be the deadliest martial art known to man. It is used by the US Military Special Operations Forces as well as the Special Forces of other countries and certainly would be in the classification category of Extreme Martial Arts.
Combat Jujitus is meant to be used in close with your opponent and to cause extreme bodily damage or death. It must be brutal and quick. It is not intended for self-defense. Self Defense actions are used to stop an attack and allow for escape. That is not Special Op Forces mission.
Major William E. Fairbairn and Colonel Rex Applegate are generally credited with developing and teaching this style of combat during World War II.
Major William E. Fairbairn served with the British Secret Service where he trained British, Canadian and US Commando and Ranger units in Close Quarters Combat. All of his methods and moves are Jujitsu techniques.
Colonel Rex Applegate wrote "Kill or Get Killed" in 1942 while working in the US Office of Strategic Services (OSS). It is still considered the classic textbook on Western-style hand-to-hand combat. The techniques he used in the book were developed during his work with Major Fairbairn as well as feedback from OSS operatives in the field. So these are tested and proven techniques that clearly indicate that Combat Jujitus is the world's deadliest martial arts.
While other forms of martial arts may claim to be the deadliest, none of them can show any PROOF of their effectiveness in actual combat. That is why U.S. Navy SEALs and Special Operations Forces Worldwide are both respected and feared by their enemies. Nothing comes close to the extreme martial arts training received by these elite forces!
Remember, Combat Jujitus is not a fighting style. Special Ops forces do not want to fight. It slows them down. They want to encounter, eliminate and exit. In other words, they must eliminate the threat at the first sign of trouble. However, if they do encounter an enemy, they must assume two things.
1. He is Armed!
2. He is not alone!
Therefore, surprise and speed will always be to their advantage. So when meeting the enemy during Spec Ops, they will have three choices.
1. Dis-arm (and/or bind, but leave behind)
2. Capture (rescue hostage or take prisoner back)
3. Kill
So this is where their Combat Jujitus will save their life and their mission. They do it well.
