Write Articles For Better Article Marketing Campaigns

Writing articles for a better article marketing campaigns and submitting these to

article banks is a cheap and effective way of getting traffic to your website. It is not a quick traffic generating method but it improves with the number of articles you have in the search engines. And knowing some of the methods of article writing will make your campaigns more effective.

There are three parts to your article, two of which are very important if you want to succeed with your article marketing campaign.

The first is the title. This must contain the key words that relate to your subject. This is the first thing anyone sees so it needs to be enticing enough to get people to read on. Make sure then that you have a luring catchy title that is hypnotic and different.

The next most important words you write are in the first line of the first paragraph. Surfers of the internet are known for their short attention span and they don't really read the pages word for word unless they can see they will gain something, i.e. it solves a problem or makes their life better for them. So, the title and the first line are the bait and the hook that you use to lure them to read your article.

The next most important part of the article is the resource box. This is where you finally get your reader to click through to your website or product. If they don't feel like doing that then you have wasted your time. This box should have your name and a reason to click through like an offer of a free ebook, e-course or review. You can write " (your name) is an expert in suchandsuch. Go and get his popular free ebook at => www.yoursite.com. The arrow seems to be an extra pull for the reader to click onto the link. It can be quite effective if you can use the resource box as part of your condlusion, then the resource box looks as if it is part of the article.

The body of the article should be about four paragraphs long and these should only be about four to seven line long, at the most. Make sure you use simple language and keep the sentences uncomplicated and not too long. Readers hate to have to work hard at understanding what you are trying to say. And very important, make sure your spelling and grammar are correct. If you need to, ask a friend to proof read it for you. Mistakes are easy to oversee several times, especially when you are reading from a screen.

The last thing that is left to do now is to submit the article to a directory, or several directories. If you are submitting to several it is a good idea to change your articles slightly so the content is unique when a search engine reads it. It is possible to submit your article manually or by using an automated article submitting system. It all depends on how much time you have. Where you want to put your energy.
