. Majority of people across the globe follow similar eating habits. They consume food only if they experience hunger. But there are many who eat just because they feel like eating. Their body does not require that energy, still one is forced to eat something. This happens because it is not the body, but the mind, which commands the brain to do so. Many times a normal people also feel like eating something which their body actually does not require, but because the mind gets the craving to consume it, people tend to gorge on that food item.
Many times the situation is also a culprit I making people eat more than their actual capacity. For example, when people get together, normally the mood is jovial, at such times people tend to forget their diet regimen and indulge. Another situation, when people are sad, even then they are inclined to eat more than usual. So, the external factors work on us, they leave an impact on our life and may change diet pattern, may be temporarily.
This is only about changed eating pattern due to external factors, but how we look at ourselves also has lots to do with eating habits. Many people suffer from distorted self image. Meaning, they never perceive themselves as they actually are. They always find themselves fatter than they actually are. This causes them to undertake activities which help them reduce weight. Some cannot control their taste buds and eat their heart out, but once the guilt gets them, they throw out everything they have consumed. These are called eating disorders. These disorders need
