The puddling involves breaking the cooled pig iron into pieces and melting them while being stirred. The mixture is oxidized by a current of air and some other elements are added. As the melt is stirred carbon and other elements oxidized and the slag is formed. The next stage involves removing the slag contained within the content. The final process rolling is repeated to obtain wrought iron of desired quality. Wrought iron has been popular for home decorating, especially recently. Even in the past wrought iron was used for things like railings and ornaments. Many people appreciate the gritty look of the wrought iron and that is why it has become so popular for home decor. Also, many wrought iron kitchen accessories and other home decor iron working were made from wrought iron simply because it was a very cheap type of iron to produce.

Wrought iron is used more because of its resistance towards salt water and durability. Wrought iron is fibrous in texture, highly ductile and strong in both tension and compression. In home decoration wrought iron is used mostly as a handle holder. Wrought iron shelves are eye catching decoration in homes. When we put a piece of wrought iron furniture in home, it really changes the way the room looks.
