Yeast Infection Home Remedies

Yeast Infection is one of the most common infections a person could have

. It is a condition where a yeast-like fungus grows and settles on a particular area of your skin. It is caused by the fungus called Candida Albicans. Such fungus is normally present in our body in minimal manner. It is normally present in human skin especially in areas of moisture. But if such fungus increases in number, exceeding its normal rate, that's the time the infection caused by such fungus occurs. But you don't need to worry that much for here are a few home remedies to fight yeast infection:

1. Use Garlic. Yes! Garlic is proven to be composed of natural anti-biotic properties that fight infection. You can chop the garlic into small pieces and smash them until it turns into a paste. You can apply the paste all over the infected area at least three to four times daily. Though the smell can be quite daunting, garlic has proven to be truly effective in treating yeast infection.

2. Use Honey. Just like garlic, honey contains natural anti-biotic properties that helps alleviate the symptoms of yeast infection. You just have to apply the honey all over the affected area and leave it for 30 minutes. After which, you can rinse it with water. Though honey is very sticky, do this remedy for at least twice daily then your infection will be treated in a short period of time.

3. Use Vinegar. The use of vinegar, preferably cider, has proven to be effective in treating yeast infection. You can mix the vinegar with warm water and soak the affected area for 20 minutes. It is best to do such remedy at least once or twice daily.

4. Use Yogurt. Yes! Yogurt is a form of probiotic remedy. It is a good alternative to decrease the growth of yeast in the affected area. The recommended dose would be a teaspoon full of yogurt to be applied directly in the infected skin. Do such remedy at least twice in a day and you will see its effectiveness.

5. Use Olive Leaf and Grape Fruit Seed Extract. More like garlic and honey, olive leaf contains natural antibiotic properties as well that helps fight infection. It will be more effective when mixed with grape fruit seed extract in warm water. Use cotton buds in applying in the infected skin. You can do such remedy once daily.

There are still a lot of home remedies you can do to treat yeast infection. But what I have just shared with you are the most effective remedies. Do such remedies properly and you will undoubtedly treat the infection in no time.
