Joining a MLM company is one thing but learning how to make money with it is a totally different story. Most network marketers struggle to get their MLM business off the ground and it all boils down to training. Training may be provided but is it the training that will guide you to success.

When I got started in the MLM industry, I truly thought it was going to be very simple to earn lumps of cash in a short amount of time. Well reality smacked me in the face real quick. Like most newbie's, I was told to follow my uplines lead by copying what they were doing and financial freedom will follow.

I found out very quickly that was far from the truth. Do you thing you can duplicate what Warren Buffet did to create wealth? Probably not, because business was very different in his day then it is today and this goes for any MLM business as well. You have to adapt to the times and pave your own way.

In this day and age there are different principles, rules and regulations when it comes to business. If you want to get productive results with your MLM business let me share a couple of concepts that will help you prevent failure.

1. Leveraging the internet is very important when building your MLM business. The reason behind that is because decades ago it was all about word of mouth. You had to talk to as many people as possible like going door to door spreading the word about your business. Now you can talk to thousands of people a month, from the comfort of your home which is specifically targeted individuals for your business.

2. Learning the skill of sponsoring is a very efficient way to build a MLM business. This is not about chasing family and friends pitching your MLM business. Sponsoring is all about building relationships with people and leading with value. The more value you provide, people will likely join anything you are a part of because rapport and trust has been built.

3. Learning the secrets of video marketing is a great way to generate targeted leads for your business. Video marketing is a free service that is very easy to use and setup. I have a couple of business partners that built huge teams of distributors using Youtube that exceed well over 10,000 reps in their first year of business. Not too shabby for a couple of college drop outs.

4. Training is one thing but finding a mentor is another. You need a mentor that is currently getting results. Sometimes it can be challenging to find a good mentor because you really don't know what you are going to get before you join a MLM company. That is why doing your research is very important before you make a decision.

5. NEVER QUIT! Many network marketers quit shortly after they start a MLM business. The main reason people quit is because they haven't made any money and lack of training. If you truly want to be successful you must face the hard times and overcome them. Quitting will only put you in the 97% failure rate.
