Over the last several days I have been calling a close friend of mine and I haven't been able to reach her
. Then the other day I sent her an email with a couple of things that I needed to ask her. I had been out of town for awhile so I wasn't sure if she was out of town or if something was wrong so I figured I would wait until she got back with me.
Today she called me and I asked her if everything was alright. She said that things had been a little crazy lately due to her dad having chest pains and they couldn't figure out what was going on with him. They had been to the emergency room thinking that he was having a heart attack, but it wasn't that. Then they thought it was a gallbladder, but no. She said they had even gone in and had x-rays done to see if he had pneumonia due to the chest pains. She had lost her grandpa due to a heart attack seven days after getting a full physical and being told he was completely healthy.
This is a very stressful thing for her and her family and she said that everyone was stumped with how to help her dad. She said that the chest pain is not going away and they just don't know what to do. I thought back to a time that I was having really bad chest pains and was in the same boat. The doctors didn't know what to do to help me and finally I went to a back specialist to see if my back had anything to do with it. They went in and found that I had a herniated disc and a cracked vertebrae.
Once I started going to a chiropractor and getting help with my back I was amazed at how much difference it made in how my chest felt. I never thought in a million years that my back would have such an impact on my chest and feeling like I couldn't breathe. There were different things the chiropractor was able to do to help my back and eventually it got to a point that I only had to go in when I happened to tweak it and get it bent out of shape. I suggested this to my friend and I hope that this might give them another aspect to consider in helping her dad feel better.
