Shipping and Storage

Design is always going to be the most important aspect of your trade show display rental, but this is nothing you didn't already know. The details beneath the surface matter most when looking for a company to handle your business. How are you going to get your installation from your office to the convention? Where will you store it in the days leading up to the show? These may seem like "we'll figure it out later" types of questions, but it's something you should consider when picking out your booth. Size

If you've paid for plenty of convention hall space, there's certainly nothing wrong with putting the biggest, most ostentatious installation up you can afford. It would be an oversimplification to say that size doesn't matter, and a striking untruth at worst. People are attracted to size. If you can get more attention than the competition simply through "size bullying," then you should take advantage of that opportunity. That said, you don't have to have the biggest trade show display rental in the hall to make a big impression. If you can attract passersby and put all of your information out there in a smaller space, you can have an effective exhibit without spending a fortune.

For years, Blockbuster thrived while renting videos for far more than local competitors. They were able to do this with brand recognition and little else. But that didn't make the movies any better than they were from the mom and pop video store down the street. Keep this in mind as you shop around. If you're paying a higher price from a certain company, know why you're doing so and whether or not it is really worth it.
