The second group of people covered in the provisions of Zadroga law includes the residents of the vicinity of the twin towers who were exposed to the toxic material during the clean up effort.

It must also be noted that the Zadroga law provisions only provide for compensation for medical expenses and does not cover any other type of expenses. The best thing is that by itself, Zadroga law does not restrict or override any other applicable compensation for the claimant. Getting a claim under Zadroga law still leaves all other claim options open to the person.
