" The Real Bliss is in Giving, Not Getting" - Derek Elliott
Second, quite frankly, give to charity is good for us
, we are actually helping those in need. Thirdly, those who give to charity will be financially rewarded in the future, not as a direct return of charity, but they seem to have good luck when it comes to wealth. So the question arises, how I can put the charity in the budget? Once a person has decided to give to charity, how should they do it? There are several ways, each with its own benefits and liabilities. First, a person can give money directly to a charity. This is, perhaps, the easiest form of charity to give. Charitable giving can even be deducted from a person's paycheck in many cases, which makes the giving even easier. However, giving money does mean that you have to pick your charity wisely. Many charities spend most of their money getting money, not helping others; furthermore, we have all read the stories about corruption in charities. While there are many good charities available, a person really needs to do some homework to make sure their contributions are really helping those who need it rather than those who want it. Charity is one of the greatest virtues of mankind. Every religion asks its followers to engage in charities for the fellow human beings and even to other living beings. Charity means using your energy, talent, resources, money, possessions, or whatever else, to help people who need them. The basic spirit behind the charity in religion is that man must share what God has given to him. Thus charity is also a means of giving justice to the fellow human beings and to serve God as all people are the children of God. Yet, charity must not be done for getting any benefit in return from this world in any form because then it become business and trading of one type of material possession (wealth, time, knowledge etc) with other type of material possession (name, fame, respect from society etc). It has to be done without any expectation as God Himself rewards those who do charity. An ideal act of charity is similar to throwing your money into the river, which is done silently and without any expectation or even a possibility of return. "The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; To an opponent is tolerance; To a friend is your heart; To your child is a good example; To a father is deference; To your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; To yourself is respect; To all men is charity" Derek Elliott
