It would shock you to learn what counts as harassment. We all know about sexual harassment but there really is so much more than that. Any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable can be considered harassment. Now in all fairness there are many situations that can be taken care of with an intelligent conversation where you explain why you feel uncomfortable to the person in a non-confrontational way. However, there are people out there who will make things worse once they know you are uncomfortable, unfortunately those people are every where but you do not have to deal with it. If that person is your boss or someone who is higher up the corporate ladder than you and you are worried that speaking up to them will cost you your job that is wrong.
