Technically obesity is defined as a condition wherein a person has an excess proportion of body fat. It can be diagnosed through determining one's body mass index (BMI) and when their BMI already exceeds 30 then this is the time one can be declared as obese. This condition occurs when a person consumes more calories than what they can burn. Such can be related to very little engagement on an exercise regimen or even any forms of physical activity.
