creation and religion by:Randolph Pierce BoyerIn christianity and in judaism both share the same charcteristics in creation. the story is god created earth in seven days and rested on the sabbath. In islam allah(god) created the earth in six days and says god is in control of all the universe. While christianity believes there are seven heavens. islam and judaism only believes in one. the basis of creation in islam tells the story of the reason satin went against god and god said in the quran: we created you we shaped you fall prostrate before adam all the angels except ibleen(satan) fell before adam. It is strange that the quran mentions adam many times but with different names. The bible is a lot different because it tells of adams temptation by his wife eve and of the serpent satan. The bible also tells the location of were the garden of eden is located by four rivers the first two that we know of are the euphrates and the tigres and the two we don't know are the gihon and the pison river. The last creation myth tells of noahs flood the islam point of view they call noah(nuh) they believe that nuh and his three sons and they seeked a mountain for refuge. while judaism and christianity make noah a more profound figure in that he was a hero to the human race. They make his sons into the descendents of our great race today. They call the quran the book where christianity left off.
