To believe is first to imagine all possibilities, and then to measure the mathematical probability relative to each perceived possibility, in order to rightfully choose the contingency deemed most probable. However, the sanctity built around every religion has circumscribed the realm of belief to only one option, therefore one truth; when in fact, the possibilities are endless and the truth is fragmented in infinity, hence immeasurable. It is this extensive truth, so invidious towards our humanity, which has enticed the field of religious thought and entranced its recipients into unbounded adherence. To truly fathom religion, one needs to examine its content with objectivity, and therefore question the truthfulness of its revelations, in order to scientifically assess its tenability. Nevertheless, this does not inherently mean that truth can be measurable; in fact, within most sciences truth is merely a rational interpretation, often countered by other rational interpretations. Ergo, the objective from such examination would be Knowledge, to acquire a valid comprehensiveness in respect to spirituality. Solely rational scientific methodology is capable of delimiting the repertoire of infinite possibilities, by systematic dismissal of unlikely scenarios. Furthermore, this process will render the breadth of spirituality, formerly so extensive, into a few potential interpretations, each of which deemed probable. However, reducing the scope of likely scenarios does not seriously undermine the ambiguity of the matter, when compared with religion that fundamentally eliminates any source of tumult or discomfort. Therefore, once at this level (after reducing the realm of possibilities), subjective selection is most reasonable: one is therefore free to choose whichever interpretation he deems most realistic, or appealing, but only after having rationally examined and systematically eliminated the least auspicious contingencies. In other words, one can acquire the comfort offered by religion, while simultaneously adhering to a more probable, more scientific set of beliefs.
