ACHIEVING GOOD RESULTS

"Nothing so gladdens a man's heart than seeing his desires come true and his dreams becoming a reality".
Human beings have the desire to succeed in everything they do, and you are not an exception. Nobody wants to be a failure, no matter any situation, not even you. "Nothing good, they say, comes easily". You want success in your academic pursuit, which is a good idea. But how prepared are you toward such situations?
If you ask professionals like Doctors, teachers, scientists, etc. they will simply tell you that, there are guiding phenomenon to achieving certain goals or desires in different fields of endeavour. I will here discuss the phenomenons that can aids you in your academics pursue.
There are of two great types namely:
1. Hard work (2) prayerfulness.
1.Prayer: is the key to life treasure; it is the remedy for life's troubles; it is the only power that you have to face any time it occurred to you.
Moreover, it is the most important factor for success in life.
RUDIMENTS OF PRAYER:
Well, actually by this, I mean factors contributing to prayer;
1. Believe: When you pray, believe that your prayers have been answer, empty your heart before God and believe. Definitely, He is able to see you throughout your expectation.
2. Act out your faith: You must act in accordance with what you have asked of God, for instance, if you are having a problem and you pray about it. You should act in such a way that suggests that god has solved your problems.
3. Work towards it: Even if you pray 24 hours of the day and do not work, you cannot get anything, remember God can only bless the work of your hands and not send "Manna" from above, do not expect any such miracle before you say God has disappointed me.
2. Hard work: Note, this doesn't mean overworking, but it means doing the rightful thing at the rightful time, place and manner.
However, many of our youth want to acquire a lot of things but do not want to work; they want good grades at school and good jobs but do not want to study, they want quick money but do not intend to improve their working skills, they want to live the life of "bigmanism" but do not import their usual energy. This is sheer wishful philosophy. Also, hard work is the key to success; it never kills anyone "for success in your spiritual, financial, socially and morally, you must work tremendously. As earlier liberated, hard work does not mean stressing oneself but applying one's energy and resources toward whatever you are doing.
RUDIMENTS OF HARD WORKING
1. Studying: As a student, apprentice, etc you need to study very well in order to know much about what you are doing, so that at any point in time you can prove to anyone that you know what you are doing. This will make people respect you and you will be recommended for scholarship or goodwill as the case may.
2. Setting Goals: You must set goals for your life. NB: for you to achieve these goals, you need to do first thing first. Set short term and long-term goals.
3. Avoid Distraction: Anything or anybody that cannot help you achieve your goals is what I call a distraction. Do away with those things. Avoid such persons who do not have ambition.
4. Be Patient: remember "you may have to fight a battle more than once to win it" says Margaret Thatcher, former British Prime Minister. Keep on working for your light will shine someday, and stander advises "do not be discouraged: it may be the last key in the bunch that opens the door" do not give up. "Because it has been obvious that, "a patient dog eats the fastest born".
