Second option is host pms part online where as pabx part is located at hotel"s premises. Third option to host both pms and pabx at hotel"s premises. Telephone numbers are assigned by Hotel administrator and extensions numbers are generally assigned by the room number. ( ie room number 101 is assigned with telephone extension of 101) but hostel administrator can assign extension numbers as they prefer. If room doesn"t have active guest checked in, the phone unit can dial only frontdesk or admin staff. But if a guest is assigned to a room by a checkin, phone extension is enable and can be used to dial out as allowed by the hotel administrator. Any call taken out will be charge at the rate defined by hotel administrator and added to guest bill.
