These alloys contain 85% to 95 % of the tungsten carbide, and 5 % to 14 % of the cobalt as a binder metal, it make the alloy has the necessary strength . Mainly used for processing steels of certain alloy , but also contain titanium, tantalum and niobium carbides. All of these alloys are by powder metallurgy manufactured .
