10 Tips to Make Your Blogging Business Successful
10 Tips to Make Your Blogging Business Successful
1. Select your Blog Topic relevant to your business, but not exact. If you are a car mechanic, do not just make a blog as carmechanic.blogspot.com (provided that address is available) but make a specialized blog. If you specialize in repairing and servicing Mercedes cars, create your blog as mercedescarrepairs.blogspot.com. This will definitely get your blog more traffic and attention.
2. Keep your Blog Title, the Page Title and the first Header Text same. If you are selecting mercedescarrepairs.blogspot.com as your blog url, then keep the blog title as "Mercedes Car Repairs". Also in the header text which you write below the Title, repeat the same words at least once along with other words.
3. In the "About Me" field, briefly describe yourself and your work honestly. Also mention your email ids.
4. Create a Facebook Fan Page or a Twitter Account and link it to your blog.
5. Keep your posts short and simple. Dont just write randomly. Make a plan and have at least ten articles ready in your mind before you post the first one.
6. All the posts should be in order. If you are writing about car repairs in four or five parts, then write continuously. Do not insert any other post in between. It will break the link for the reader and he might get disinterested.
7. As far as possible, keep one picture or video in each post. But keep in mind that the picture or video should be related to your article. In an article about oiling and lubrication, do not paste a photo of a car stereo or an air purifier.
8. Do not write your blog posts in a fixed pattern e.g. after writing for 2-3 days, take a day's break. Then after 1-2 days, again take a break of 2 days. Keep writing blog posts and taking breaks randomly. Never follow a fixed pattern.
9. Most importantly, write what the consumer wants. Do not write about a specific car part because it has just arrived in the market and without knowing its flaws, you just start praising it. Write about particular topics in which you have a mastery and which are of use for the consumer. e.g. functions of a particular car part which is relatively unknown to the people but is of great use.
10. The last but not the least. Do not let the consumer know that you are trying to sell something. Write as if you are giving your independent opinion and not because you are a dealer or an affiliate and you want to earn commission from the sales.
