. This portable RFID stick reader is commonly used for mobile applications and is suitable for use in harsh environments such as feedlots, auction barns and abattoirs.

This low frequency handheld stick RFID reader, model 212009, offers a high power mode for a long read range. It is compliant with ISO 11784/5 standards and reads HDX and FDX-B transponders. It offers a read range of up to 40 cm (15.75") with HDX transponders and up to 32 cm (12.5") with FDX-B transponders. It also provides built-in wireless synchronization to guarantee seamless functionality with other readers within reach.

This high performance reader offers two power modes: energy saving low power mode functions for extra long operating time, and high power mode, which provides the best read range in class. It is able to store 3000 tags with time stamp and the tag data can be uploaded to a computer through its RS232 interface. What's more, its IP67 protected housing allows accidental drops onto concrete.
