I have the utmost respect for the coaches of the Jets (Rex Ryan) and 49ers ( Mike Singletary) as they are player coaches. They love the game of football. They are transitioning their teams. "I want players , players !" Mike Singletary's quote from his takeover last year. And now he is ok with players not participating in practice or OTA's ?

This whole preseason has been devoted to holdouts, gripes and complaints. Did no one learn where last season left off? With Drew Brees winning the Superbowl due to "all the extra time and effort he put in off the field "

So there we have it while teams amd players practice so hard they injure themselves whilst they prepare for FOOTBALL , two coaches complain of referees and deal with player issues irrelevant to the game itself . With the best in the World competing for the Lombardi Trophy minute issues like the aforementioned WILL have an effect on a teams outcome. Look for the Previous mentioned teams to have less than expected seasons
